2. What is personal data?
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (what’s known as a "data subject”).
3. What data is collected from visitors and users of our platform and how is it processed?
When you visit our platform, a browser session is created. Every page you visit is stored in the local session memory (= local storage) with the aim of providing you with better and more targeted advice. As soon as you send an enquiry using the contact form, the pages you have visited are suggested as areas of interest. After you leave the page, the local memory and therefore the data is deleted.
The following personal data is requested for the enquiry form:
- Name
- Company
- Address
- Email address
- Phone number
Areas of interest are automatically derived from the locally saved pages you have visited, which you can edit yourself before sending the contact form (for example you can deselect irrelevant topics or all topics). When the form is sent, the data entered in the contact form and the areas of interest selected by you are then sent to a server in the company group and stored there in a database. The personal data entered, including the selected areas of interest, will then be forwarded internally to the responsible contact person for who is responsible for replying to you.
